Learn What Essential Oils & Herbs Are Best For Your Body-Mind Type.

Hello, Divine Ones!

Today I wanted to talk about essential oils and herbs you can use based on your Body-Mind type to improve your symptoms. I also provided an herbal tea blend for each Body-Mind type.


If you're new to essential oils, they are the natural oil found in the plant. These oils are extracted by distillation. There are many uses for essential oils, and improving your health is one of the best benefits of using them.


I use essential oils in my cooking, my bath, and to help me relax and sleep. Two of my favorite oils are peppermint and lavender. I use peppermint for mosquito bites or burns, and lavender helps me unwind.


Some oils you can start using now based on your Body-Mind Type include:


Earthy:

Lemongrass, Peppermint, Orange, Rose, and Coconut Oil.


Airy:

Neroli, Mandarin, Vetiver, Sesame and Vitamin E Oil.


Fiery:

Juniper Berry, Rose, Sage, Spearmint, Tea Tree, Almond, and Vitamin E oil.


I want to encourage you to play around with these different oils and see how you feel about using them.


You can diffuse them in a diffuser, apply them to your skin, put in a few drops in your bathwater, and some brands that do not have a carrier oil you can add to your water and food.


PLEASE BE SURE that the type of oil you are ingesting is safe to do so. NOT ALL OILS ARE CREATED EQUAL!!!!!


I recommend Doterra or Young Living brands if you want to eat them. Still, be careful to Read The Labels.

You can also find many essential oils in herbal form. I wanted to share some of my favorite herbal tea recipes best for your Body-Mind type.


Earthy:

½ teaspoon lemongrass

½ teaspoon ginseng

½ teaspoon peppermint

1 cup water

Sweeten with honey

Makes 1 cup


This tea is excellent to help earthy types increase energy and motivation. This herbal blend also helps balance earthy types.


Bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Mix the herbs. Once water is at a boil slowly, pour over the herbs. Cover the cup and let sit for about 6 minutes. Strain the tea and add the honey.


Airy:

½ teaspoon ginger, grated

½ teaspoon hibiscus flowers

1 pinch fennel seeds

1 cup water

Honey to sweeten

Makes 1 cup


This tea is excellent for grounding and calming the airy type.


Bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Mix the herbs. Once water is at a boil slowly, pour over the herbs. Cover the cup and let sit for about 6 minutes. Strain the tea and add the honey.


Fiery:

½ teaspoon juniper berry

½ teaspoon rose hip

½ teaspoon sage

1 cup water

Honey to sweeten

Makes 1 cup


This tea has cooling effects that are beneficial for the fiery Body-Mind type. It's an excellent blend for balancing the fire of the fiery types.


Bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Mix the herbs. Once water is at a boil slowly, pour over the herbs. Cover the cup and let sit for about 6 minutes. Strain the tea and add the honey.
